How to Organize your Toys:
Rotate toys. This keeps the amount manageable to clean up and makes it new and exciting!
You don't need more storage/better organization, you need less toys.
The purpose of play is for children to grow and explore and use creativity and imagination! Declutter toys thatare below your children's age levels.
Choose open ended toys and declutter things that can be used only one way.
When children have less items to play with, they will be more creative with those toys, they will be more likely to spend time outside, and they will be less overwhelmed and able to take responsibility for cleaning up.
The money you spent on toys is already spent. By keeping them you are continuing to spend time, energy and money to care for and store them.
Depending on age/personality you can involve your kids in the process. They might not choose what you would but let them pick what they'd like to sell/give away and pick a fun goal (such as a zoo trip) to use the money for!
